Neroli oil is an essential oil obtain through steam distillation from the flowers of bitter orange trees (Citrus Aurantium). Neroli essential oil emits a thick floral scent, with a hint of citrus. Neroli oil is often used as an ingredients in producing body lotions and cosmetics because of its soothing effect. It can also be used in aromatherapy.

Some evidence suggests that Neroli oil has benefits for conditions like depression, anxiety, high blood pressure. seizures and menopausal symptoms. Several small studies indicate that Neroli oil has antimicrobial, antifungal, and antioxidant properties which is helpful for reducing acne breakouts and skin irritation.
