MagicalButter  - (Herbal Butter Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 7-14 g herbs per cup of butter (240 ml*) - The more herb the stronger
  • 2-5 cups (475-1180ml) unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon/15 ml lecithin per cup/240 ml***

Important:

  • It is recommended to use a minimum of 2 cups of butter.
  • The maximum capacity is 5 cups of butter.
  • Don't use water
  • Do not use margerine - use unsalted butter

How To

  1. Place the ingredients into the machine and secure the lid.
  2. Press the Temperature button, and select 160°F/71°C. Then press the 2 Hours/Butter button.
  3. After the cooking cycle is finished, unplug the unit at the power point and remove the lid. Put on the LoveGlove™, and pour the contents slowly through your PurifyFilter™ into a storage container. Ensure you squeeze the filter/herbs to drain the butter which is soaked within the herb.

Handy Hints:

*Do not pregrind the herbs - the magical butter machine does this for you

*The more herbs you add, the strong the butter becomes.

*Some people recommend gently melting the butter beforehand and discarding the milk solids and foam from the surface. Another easier options is to simply use melted or softened butter. Don't use cold/firm butter.

*Adding lecithin is recommended but not essential (Lecithin is an emulsifier used in the cooking industry). It helps to increase the bioavailability of plant compounds in your high-lipid infusions which in turn intensifies the potency of the extracts. You can buy it at your local health-food or vitamin store in the form of powder, granules, or liquid. Any type is sufficient except in capsules, because they contain too many binders and fillers.
