This 1000-watt MH Ballast includes a 220-240 volt Australian power cord and suitable Australian lighting output lamp socket. Suitable for all American Metal Halide lamps rated at 263V 4.2A.

Note: this ballast is not suitable to run European 1000w lamps, HPS lamps rated at 100V 10.6A, and MH lamps rated at 130V 8.2A. (Magnetic European Ballast is available on request)

 GL 1000W MH Ballast Features:

• 1000W MH CE, RoHS and C-tick Certified, enclosed control Ballast.
• Metal case capacitor is used for long lasting performance.
• Free standing on bench with rubber feet to reduce noise and vibration when it operates.
• Feature one suitable output socket, making it compatible with all reflector lamp cords.
• Truly Constant Wattage Ballast (called CWA style) means no lamp flickering when supply voltage varies from time to time during the day and night. Lamp output wattage is constant!!!
• With the flip of a switch the ballast can be converted to run HPS or MH lamps. Simply insert the appropriate lamp into reflector and set the switch to the correct operating setting.
• All our magnetic ballasts are built for 10 years life with a 5 years warranty.
• Comes standard with a 220 – 240V Australian power cord.
• The ballast is made from sturdy, powder-coated, steel housing with cooling louvers all around.
