Myrrh is a very sacred fragrance and is well known for being the ingredient used in the first and second temples at Jerusalem. Most people also know it from the three wise men story often told during Christmas time. Although not a fragrance for everyone it is one of those fragrances you either hate or love. It is a woody, warm and slightly balsamic fragrance. It's very aromatic and pungent and some people claim it smells dusty, medicinal, resinous, attains bitter after-tones, cooling and astringent.
