The SpotOn Quantum PAR Meter is a versatile and reliable tool for measuring Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR) levels in any environment. Whether you're working with natural or artificial light sources, this meter provides accurate readings in three different modes: instant spot measurement, scan mode for averaging PAR over an area, and DLI mode for measuring daily light integral without the need for a computer.
This compact and easy-to-use device is water and impact resistant, with an integral mounting plate for stand, stake, magnet mounts, lanyard, and a hangar hole. It also features a 1/4-20 threaded hole for mounting on camera tripods and stands, and comes with a sensor cover and soft carrying case for added protection.
The SpotOn Quantum PAR Meter has a PAR light range of 0.0 to 6,500 μmol m-2 s-1 and a DLI range of 0.0 to 560.0 moles m-2 day-1. It has a display resolution of 0.1 μmol m-2 s-1 from 0.0 to 99.9 and 1 μmol m-2 s-1 from 100 to 6,500, and an accuracy of +/- 5%. It has an azimuth error of +/- 1% over 360°, and calculates DLI continuously from light readings every 3 minutes.
This device is IP-65 rated for use in rain, irrigation, and condensing environments, and is capable of operating in temperatures ranging from 32-130°F (0-55°C) with 0-100% relative humidity. It runs on a CR2032 3v coin cell lithium battery, which is included and has a 2-year lifespan. The SpotOn Quantum PAR Meter measures 4.5cm x 14.6cm x 1.8cm (1.75in x 5.75in x .85in) and weighs 77g (0.17lb).
