Nag Champa is arguably the most popular incense fragrance in the world. Its intoxicating blend of natural ingredients, herbs, resins and masala helps to create a positive state of mind, facilitate meditation and induce feelings of calmness and tranquility. Whether you want to purify a space, practice yoga or meditation, or just enjoy the sweet and woodsy aromas, you can't go wrong with Satya's nag champa incense.

Hand-rolled in Bangaluru and Mumbai, India, with essences of frangipani and sandalwood, this traditional Indian combination was prized by the legendary guru, Sai Baba. Shrinivas Sugandhalaya (Satya) are experts when it comes to masala incense, which is made by combining natural resins with a complex combination of oils, herbs and botanicals. This creates a dough which is then rolled onto bamboo sticks, resulting in far superior quality when compared to incense dipped in perfume oils.

Each stick burns for around 45 minutes with each box containing 15g of incense.

Since ancient times, incense has been utilised for a host of purposes. Civilisations in Greece, Egypt, Rome, China and India are known to have used incense for meditation, rituals, medicine, insect repellent and more. The famous nag champa incense originated in India where Buddhist and Hindu monks began to use the blend to facilitate meditation. Each temple had their own unique blend, with aromas ranging from sweet and floral to woody and earthy. When Buddhism and Eastern culture began to gain popularity in America in the 1960's, nag champa incense went on to become what is now the most loved and well-known incense fragrance in the world.
