How often should I use it?
It’s generally recommended 3–5 times per week.
How long is each session?
Each treatment typically lasts between 10–20 minutes.
What is the irradiance at different distances?
0 cm: 164.1 mW/cm²
7 cm: 6.39 mW/cm²
15 cm: 6.06 mW/cm²
22 cm: 5.08 mW/cm²
30 cm: 4.67 mW/cm²
Why does the irradiance drop from 0cm to 7cm?
The 0cm irradiance reading is taken directly at the surface of the pod, with the meter placed right against the light output area. At this distance, the sensor is extremely close to the LEDs, so the reading is naturally much higher.
Once the meter is moved away, even slightly, the light spreads over a wider area, so the intensity measured at one point drops significantly. This is normal for mat and pod-style red light units, as they are designed to be used very close to the body rather than from a distance like a traditional red light panel.
Was irradiance measured with all LEDs active?
Yes. The irradiance measurements were taken with the unit running at full output, with both the 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared LEDs active.
What wavelengths does it use?
660nm Red light
850nm Near-infrared (NIR) light
What is the LED ratio (NIR : Red)?
It’s a 2:1 NIR to Red ratio.
That means: 660 × 1 : 850 × 2 (often described as a 3-chip LED: 1 × 660nm + 2 × 850nm).
Can two people use it at once?
Yes. The detachable design can open into adual-use layout so two users can use it at the same time (space/positioning depends on the model and user size).
What does “360° full-body coverage” mean?
The light layout is designed so your body can be surrounded by light coverage during a session (rather than light coming from only one direction).
Does it have dimming and pulsing?
Yes — dimming and pulsing modes are supported.
Does it come with an Australian power plug?
Yes all our red light therapy products come with AU powerplugs.
What is the irradiance/output?
The output is specified as 150+ mW/cm² output.
Note: irradiance can vary depending on measurement distance, meter type and test method.
Is it waterproof?
It uses a TPU waterproof / wipe-clean surface designed for hygiene and easy cleaning.
It is not designed to be submerged in water.
Does it have “0 EMF”?
The pod tests at 0 EMF.
Is it FDA cleared as a Class II Medical Device?
The pod does have US FDA Class II clearance/registration.
Important: FDA status is a US classification and does not equal TGA approval in Australia.
How do I clean it?
Unplug the unit first.
Wipe the TPU surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Avoid harsh solvents/abrasives.
Ensure it’s fully dry before packing away.
Any safety precautions?
Avoid staring directly at LEDs; consider protective eyewear if you’re light-sensitive.
Do not use on broken/irritated skin.
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medicines that can increase light sensitivity, check with a health professional first.
Stop use if you feel discomfort.
Is there warranty on it?
Yes, we offer a 12-month in-house warranty on these units. The LEDs themselves are high quality and have an expected lifespan of 50,000 to 100,000 hours.
