Using the correct propagation lights, humidity domes, rooting hormones and mediums will ensure you get the fastest possible root growth - and most important the healthiest possible plants for transplanting.
Our propagation kits come in various sorts - depending on what equipment you need. If your propagating outdoors you will just need a humidity dome, medium and rooting hormones. If you're planning to propagate indoors you'll need to look at a kit that includes a propagation light.
Propagation lights are generally fluorescent or LED's. You can propagate with HID lights but it is a bit of an over kill in both output and electricity costs. Fluro's and LED's generally put out a nice blue light which is perfect for propagating and vegetative growth. They also don't chew much electricity making them a popular choice for seed raising, cloning and early plant growth.
Majority of our kits include a propagation dome with a heat mat. Once the plants are in the dome ensure you get a mister and spray water within the dome on a daily basis. This combined with the heat mat will create a humid environment which roots love.
Our kits also include rooting hormones which provide the clones and cuttings the supplements required for fast root formation and growth.
