Product Introduction

The VIVOSUN LumaLight 500W LED Grow Light is a high-output full-spectrum indoor grow light designed for approximately 4 x 4 ft coverage, equivalent to around 1.22 x 1.22 metres. Its wide multi-bar layout is designed to provide consistent illumination across the growing area while directing useful light deeper into the plant canopy.

Rated at 500W, the LumaLight uses VIVOSUN's Micro-Lens Optic System, combining precision-curved and wave-shaped lenses to concentrate, redirect and spread light more effectively. VIVOSUN states that this optical system can increase PPFD by up to 20%, while the scientifically arranged light-bar matrix provides canopy uniformity of up to 0.89.

The fixture produces a balanced full spectrum using 3000K, 5000K, 660nm and 730nm LEDs, providing white, blue, red and far-red wavelengths suitable for different stages of indoor plant development. It is also compatible with the VIVOSUN GrowHub smart control system, allowing lighting intensity and schedules to be managed through the VIVOSUN App when paired with a compatible GrowHub controller.

Smart GrowHub Control

LumaLight 500W Full-Spectrum LED Grow Light

Grow Tent Compatibility

The LumaLight 500W is designed to provide lighting coverage for approximately a 4 x 4 ft growing footprint, making it particularly suited to compatible 4 x 4 ft grow tents and similarly sized indoor growing areas.

A 4 x 4 ft footprint is approximately 122 x 122 cm, while the fixture itself measures approximately 85 x 85 x 7.4 cm.

The wide multi-bar construction helps distribute light across the growing area while leaving room around the fixture for appropriate ventilation, filtration and environmental-control equipment.

Passive Cooling & Ventilation Compatibility

The LumaLight 500W does not contain an integrated circulation fan. Instead, heat management is handled by built-in heatsink fins that help improve passive airflow around the fixture and transfer excess heat away from the LEDs and internal components.

This is different from VIVOSUN AeroLight models, which combine lighting with an integrated canopy circulation fan.

When installed inside an enclosed grow tent, the LumaLight should therefore be paired with appropriate grow-space ventilation according to the size, temperature and environmental requirements of the setup.

VIVOSUN's operating guidance states that mechanical ventilation or cooling should be used to maintain the growing environment below 35°C / 95°F while the light is operating.
