Product Introduction

TheVIVOSUN LumaRay Side Lights 8-Bar system is a 100W supplemental LED grow lighting solution designed to deliver additional light to the sides and lower areas of an indoor plant canopy. Rather than replacing the main overhead grow light, the eight slim LED bars are designed to reach foliage and growth sites that may receive less direct illumination from above.

The system includeseight 16-inch / 41 cm LED light bars with a combined power consumption of100W. Their compact profile makes them particularly useful inside grow tents, where the bars can be positioned vertically or horizontally around support poles and tent walls to improve light distribution through the canopy.

The LumaRay produces ared-enhanced full spectrum with 660nm deep red light, with approximately60% of the spectrum within the 600–700nm red range. VIVOSUN specifies an efficiency of2.75 µmol/J, while the prism-style optical covers provide a broad120° lighting angle for supplemental side-canopy illumination.

Smart GrowHub Control

TheVIVOSUN LumaRay Side Lights 8-Bar system is compatible with the wider VIVOSUN Smart Grow System, allowing growers to integrate supplemental lighting with compatible smart controllers and other connected grow equipment.

The lights can connect to compatibleVIVOSUN E42A, E42A+ and E25 controllers. When paired with suitable controller hardware, the system can be managed through theVIVOSUN App for remote lighting control.

Temperature, relative humidity and VPD monitoring should not be advertised as included functions of the LumaRay lights themselves because dedicated environmental sensing hardware is not included with this product.

LumaRay 100W Full-Spectrum LED Side Grow Lights

Lighting is supplied by theVIVOSUN LumaRay VSL-LRSF50-8, consisting of eight slim LED light bars with a combined system power consumption of100W.

Each individual light bar measures approximately16.3 x 1.0 x 0.5 inches, with a length of approximately41 cm. The compact bar design allows the system to be installed around plant canopies without occupying significant growing space.

Grow Tent Compatibility

The LumaRay Side Lights are designed specifically assupplemental grow tent lighting, allowing additional light to be positioned around the sides and lower sections of a plant canopy.

The system includes eight slim bars that can be distributed around a larger grow tent or positioned in pairs around different sides of the growing area according to plant height, canopy density and the layout of the primary overhead lighting.

The includedsupport pole clamps allow the bars to be mounted directly onto compatible grow tent poles. Alternatively, the suppliedmagnetic clamps and metal plates allow the bars to be secured to grow tent walls.

VIVOSUN recommends maintaining more than approximately2 inches / 5.1 cm between the light bars and plants.

The VSL-LRSF50-8 also supportsdaisy-chain connection, allowing the side-light system to be organised more neatly within compatible indoor growing setups.

Because this product is a supplemental lighting system only, grow tent canvas, reflective Mylar, steel framing and other enclosure components are not supplied.

Supplemental Side-Canopy Lighting

The LumaRay 8-Bar system is designed to supplement overhead grow lighting by directing additional illumination towards plant areas that may otherwise remain shaded.

Dense upper canopies can reduce the amount of overhead light reaching lower leaves and growth sites. Installing supplemental LED bars around the sides of the growing area provides additional light pathways into these lower and side sections of the canopy.

The system's120° beam angle helps spread light across a wider area, while the red-enhanced full spectrum provides a high proportion of light within the600–700nm range, including660nm deep red.

VIVOSUN uses agallium nitride power supply, providing a compact and efficient power system with relatively low heat output.

Unlike AeroLight fixtures, the LumaRay does not include a circulation fan. Ventilation and air movement should therefore be provided separately according to the needs of the complete grow setup.
