Song of India Perfume Oils are unique fragrance oils that are made in India. They're special because the perfumes are matured just like a fine wine - which creates a beautiful, natural fragrance. We spoke to a salesperson from Rexpo (the manufacturers in India) and were told that the older the perfumes get, the more magnificent the fragrance becomes. We asked how old the perfumes that we received are and were told anywhere between 2-5 years.
Once the perfumes arrived from India our team began testing the fragrances. We were very impressed. Our Kamini Perfume Oils are by far one of our favourites and the song of india perfumes are now in close competition. During our tests we placed the fragrances on our wrists and necks at the start of the day. At the end of the day we tested to see if the fragrance were still noticeable and in 95% of cases it was still very strong.
We found the scents were strong but not overpowering. The fragrances were natural and did not come off as a chemical perfume as some do. They also carried a hint of spice in some of the fragrances which is rare - I guess this is expected as it's made from natural ingredients and materials (including essential oils).
Our favourites were the sandalwood and the lily of the valley fragrances. Both carry amazing scents and are a must for any perfume collection.
In summary, we were very impressed with these perfumes. The fragrances are amazing and they come beautifully packaged. For the price, what you get and the quality of the fragrance it's definitely hard to beat.
