While Boveda’s two-way humidity control system is basically foolproof, there a few tips and tricks to getting the most out of your Humidipaks:

• Replacing your Humidipaks: you’ll know it’s time for a fresh Humidipak when your old one starts to develop hard spots. Simply swap it out for a new one and away you go! Don’t wait until it goes rock hard or it might be too late for your goodies.   
• Using more than one Humidipak: you won’t do any harm by using more than the recommended amount of Humidipaks at once. In fact, the Humidipaks will last longer the more you put in the container. If you want to get more out of Boveda, try adding a few extra packs to your storage device. 
• Don’t work your Humidipaks too hard: if your Humidipaks are only lasting two months or less, there is too much air exposure within your container. Either use a more tightly secured container or add in a few more Humidipaks.
